How do you spend your leisure time? I try to disconnect when I am on vacation and I try to enjoy my family and my time with them. Time is the highest form of luxury, one that can not be replaced with anything. What is the biggest lesson you have learned in your career? Everything is for everyone and everyone can enjoy a form of luxury. Elitism is fading away and is the single most counterproductive notion of all time. What is Nima Behnoud’s biggest dream? I dream of the day that everyone in the world gets to know Iran’s art and culture and see how cool and relevant it is.
What is the Nima Behnoud’s motto in life? The only one that can rescue you is yourself.
What was the strangest message you received on Instagram? Asking for permission to copy our products, but now I have realized that people have a different take on plagiarism and replication and they don’t necessary mean to disrespect. How do you keep your motivation and continue on your way in difficult situations? I try to constantly remind myself that we live in a constant up and down, Up doesn’t last long and down doest last long. How can Iranians from inside and outside of Iran, buy the Nimany products? Countries who can have access to international online store is the quickest way and we do have a boutique in UAE in address hotel that showcases The NIMANY collection. What do you think about Pol magazine? It is great that a media source is bringing awareness to the work that Iranian artists, musicians and personalities are doing around the world. It is a wonderful platform to give an insight in their routine.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to follow your path? Academic knowledge will help you see the road better and it important but you still have to drive and have a good vehicle. Which famous people are Nimany’s customers? Kim Kardashian, Jim Carry, Kanye West, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Heidi Klum and many more are among the celebrities who own a NIMANY product. Which of your designs and products do you like more than the others? I have an equal love and passion for all that is being produced under the brand name. In which countries is Nimany brand represented? USA, Europe and United Arab Emirates
